I can't believe I didn't mention this Monday. I live just across the river from Philadelphia, and if that wasn't the state line my area would have been long since absorbed into city limits. So it is, to put it mildly, Eagles country.

I am not a huge football fan. If it's on TV, I'll watch it and get involved, but as I've put it on Bluesky I am basically the family golden retriever: not really sure what's going on, I am just happy to be a part of it all. Philly loves the Eagles in a way that Wichita never loved the Chiefs. I knew fans, but the city (three, four hours and one state away from the stadium) didn't make it their whole identity.

I went to the grocery store Sunday afternoon and was perhaps the only person not wearing green (I instead wore my Maize High Eagles shirt, which wasn't quite the right logo but close enough, albeit in unfortunate red-and-white). There was someone walking around (to the embarrassment of his partner) holding up his phone with the fight song playing, and later when I was checking out I joined in the checkers-and-baggers' off-key a capella rendition. There were fireworks, official and unofficial, people yelling in the street even in our sleepy neighborhood, and I think folks climbed the light poles downtown in our tiny city.

All of which is to say: I made an Eagle charm-and-snap-tab set. It's not the team logo, but both the Noto and Twemoji designs, plus a Noun Project line-art eagle that I think translated well to the charm form.

I also wrapped up the Cherry Blossom designs, which also includes a snap tab though I failed to get it in the cover image and I'll have to re-shoot that. That one's the February tier reward in both Patreon and Ko-Fi - you can buy it outright on both sites now, so I've restarted the Ko-Fi tier but I am only opening membership up the 1st through 5th of the month to keep the payments in sync with the releases.
