This spectacular little dragon art doll is made from high-sheen upholstery velvet in bold fuchsia with reverse applique in sparkle quilting cotton, from a pattern I created myself. Its wings, face ruff, back frill, and tail vanes feature hearts, because a velvet this color demanded it. Its claws are pressed-glass beads in purple vitrail - mostly gold, with flashes of purple and fuchsia. The talons are hand-wound with cotton floss carefully matched to the velvet - the front talons are curled under and are just the right size to present a small ornament or a ring. Its eyes are chessboard-cut aurora-borealis crystals.

It's assembled with a combination of hand- and machine-sewing, and stands on its own. Its wings are partially wired, and reasonably poseable. One wing is fully extended, and the other is partially folded.

It is about seven and a half inches tall to the top of its head, not counting the frill which brings it closer to eight inches.

This is a one-of-a-kind creation - I will never make another one like it. Don't miss out!

Despite its toy-like appearance, this is an adult collectible art doll with small parts that could pose a choking hazard. Made in a smoke-free but cat-occupied home from an original Silver Seams pattern. The seltzer can, hearts, and ring are for scale only and are not included. You are buying one dragon.
