Silver Seams
A still from video, with my finger obscuring the needle.

Pivot to video?

The video setup isn't quite as finished as I'd like, but it suffices to get some decent footage to play with. I've put a timelapse here and there.

I was very pleased that I got video of an entire making of a Minimalist Frog without forgetting to turn on the camera for any steps, or getting so distracted by operating the camera that I did something wrong in stitching (hard to do in the Frog but I'm sure I could find a way), but now I'm going through the footage and realizing the camera angle I have chosen means my finger obstructs the needle while I'm showing how it works. WHOOPS

So that'll be a little more filming. I may timelapse the revised Jumping Spider, though I don't have a setup to film the hand work yet - the cutting out, the stuffing, the wiring, and the sewing up. I picked the Frog because it's basic enough not to need that. Filming hand work is harder, because I have to remember to keep my hands in the middle of the frame and I am way too easily distracted to remember that.

In between, I've gotten a couple more little designs out: Freedom and Hello Pumpkin but I'm going to have to wrap up the September designs next week - voting seems to have tapered off and it looks like it's going to be the (grown-up) Standing Dragon finally, to go with the Baby Standing Dragon..
