Making movies!

I have the raw footage shot for the Minimalist Frog explainer. I managed to not goof up the stitchout like I did on the Noto Frog test run (in my defense, trying to deal with the camera/lights at the same time as a zipper bag was a bad idea). Now I just have to:

• make sure I didn't mess up play/pause and miss any important steps

• chop it up into something reasonably paced

• record a voiceover in between the air conditioner, pump, and dehumidifer running.

I talked over the video as I recorded it, just so Future Me would have something to build a script out of, and I realized something weird.

Now, I have a phone voice. I don't know where it comes from, but it is my Smooth Professional Voice, less "nasal old lady" than my actual voice. I am absolutely incapable of turning it on voluntarily, or I'd use it all the time. It often results in people who know me staring at me after I've gotten off the phone, because it's like a whole different person coming out of my mouth. It came out in the test audio, so we'll see if getting in front of the fancy mic brings it out.
