Video messing-about is on hold until I wrap the September reward designs, but I have solved one of my problems.
I pretty much lack vanity - as best I can remember I last wore makeup at my wedding in the early 90's, to my mother's great dismay (er, not wearing it, not wearing it then). But putting my hands on video has made me acutely aware that I have not just freckles but also age-spots. And, sure, I've got enough trips around the sun I'm not ashamed of them, but also I'm aware that it will count against me in The Algorithms. So I'm gonna engage in a little light cosplay.
I bought the largest size they had in hopes of not actually getting too much compression, but they're pretty snug. I have plain (well, okay, purple) compression gloves in a failed attempt to deal with winter basement temperatures, but the seams irritate me so I wear them inside-out. The dragon gloves will probably do the same, regrettably, but it'll remind me not to get sidetracked in the middle of a shoot, at least.
