Well, one goal really. Which I failed at.

My goal for July was to make a video of making a Minimalist Frog. But it required a yak-shave: I need to have access to at least the side, if not the back, of the embroidery machine to get good angles on it, which means I need to move it, which means I need to clean out the workroom floor so I can bring in the new machine stand, which also means I need to clear the path to bring the stand through the rest of the basement which means I need to clear the unpacking-boxes-in-progress out of the way. Which I did. And then unpacked other boxes while getting out Bunny Lop fabrics.

I will end up getting the stand moved in this week, but there's a reason I expected the video itself to take a good chunk of July: I expect that's a big learning curve. And especially it's going to be difficult to record the voiceover: both the air conditioner and the dehumidifier have been running almost non-stop. I am pretty sure our library system doesn't have a recording booth (it's hard to tell, given that it's a conglomeration of twenty-three individual libraries in each little town here and I have to check each webpage).

So I guess now that's the August goal.
