I'm building a robot librarian. (Okay, not one that cool.)
I know you're probably getting tired of hearing about behind-the-scenes coding progress because it's, well, behind the scenes and doesn't really change anything anybody else sees. But this work is going to change things for, especially, design buyers.
I've imported most of my customer base into the back end of my little setup, including what designs everyone has in their library. And I realized that that means I can set up an email address that you can query and it will tell you what you've bought and when, and how recently they've been updated. So if you see that you "bought" the Demo Pack when it came out in February and the most recent version is April, you can click the link and go re-download it. Or if it's Etsy, you can click the "send me a link" button and it will give you a temporary link on my website to download the updated version.
(Etsy only lets you download the version that was current when you bought it, even when I have updated the files and newer buyers are getting those. There is literally no way for me to give buyers updated files on-site.)
Long story short: I won't be limited by marketplace sites.
