Mask break

Mon, 08 Jun 2020

Wrapping up the latest batch of masks has sat at the top of my non-business to-do list long enough that I spent a little time last night top-stitching and elasticizing them. Most will go to family back in Kansas (where they’ve had considerably less of the Current Unpleasantness than we have here in New Jersey, and I’d like to keep it that way).

So far I have refrained from putting any in the shop, because they already come with enough mental baggage for me. These are all for giving away, so I don’t have to track my expenses and whatnot. Except I think I’m going to make another purple batik one for myself, since my faithful N95 (originally bought for dust control while cutting velvet) has finally had a strap failure I can’t fix with a knot.
