NickAinley alphabet for Ink/Stitch

NickAinley alphabet for Ink/Stitch

Update: NickAinley is now part of the official Ink/Stitch package, as of 2.2.0! There's no real reason to download the Ink/Stitch version now. I'll leave this page in place though, because the sampler is still fine if you want to use the pre-generated single-size version of the font.

NickAinley is an Ink/Stitch font made for legibly writing out tiny text with minimal jump stitching.

Also included is an embroidery file that is a sampler with all the glyphs of the alphabet stitched out, for copy/pasting with embroidery programs other than Ink/Stitch. But Ink/Stitch is free, so why would you want to go to all that work?

To use the font, unzip the archive. Copy the NickAinley directory (which should contain font.json, preview.png, README_en.md, and →.svg) into your Ink/Stitch fonts directory. That varies based on your installation, but is usually something like .config/inkscape/extensions/inkstitch/fonts/.

As with other free embroidery patterns here, the SVG file is included in the ZIP package so you can modify it in Inkscape and produce your own variations/sizes/etc.
