Downtime week

I and one of my assistants have been spending some time learning how to use the new Cameo 4, but we haven’t had any more hands-on (or paws-on) time with it yet. I’ve also been cutting out (by hand) all kinds of fabric for the Adventuring Party’s costumes, but I haven’t started assembling anything yet. I’m going to have some tiny dragons for Saturday’s shop drop, but I think that’s it – I have a family get-together (first time since Christmas 2019!) to prepare for, so this week will be a quiet one.

I hope to be able to cut a lot of things with the Cameo in the future, but not everything. This “chainmail” is some cosplay fabric, and I’m not even using my fabric shears on it. I’m having a lot of fun putting together novelty cottons and things that I haven’t been able to use in dragons, and trying to use up some of the fabric that’s (over)accumulated in the work room.

I just realized July is another five-Saturday week, so the Adventuring Party will be a good shop drop for that.
