As always, it's the things that catch my ADHD fancy that get finished the fastest. I am still working on the Standing Dragon revision, but there's a lot of documentation and then testing to happen there. In the meantime: slugs and snails.

This year's Squid Facts fundraiser advent calendar is Slug Facts. Last year was eels, and I had really hoped to get some eel charms done (I have one that's 99% there, I should dig it up and finish it) but this year I made it. Behold, the ridiculous banana slugs. They'll be the first September design, probably along with a snail because I understand not all of you are big slug fans and snails get better press. They're the same critter, basically!

Anyway, I have dropped the Twemoji Snail, a snap tab/feltie/etc. design, as a preview, and I've been "selling" the prototype slugs on Bluesky in exchange for donations (on the honor system) to Squid Facts/Skype a Scientist. I think I'm going to try a formal auction; 32Auctions lets you do a 20-item auction for free, and I can probably come up with twenty items for a good cause.
